TOPIC: Open Mobile Alliance Request for Information on TTCN-3 Development

Open Mobile Alliance Request for Information on TTCN-3 Development 07 May 2008 10:22 #7296

Dear TTCN-3 Experts, Developers and Tool Suppliers,

The Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), is a standards organization dedicated to
facilitating the global user adoption of mobile data services by
specifying market driven mobile service Enablers that ensure service
interoperability across devices, geographies, service providers,
operators, and networks, while allowing businesses to compete through
innovation and differentiation.

As part of OMA's successful conformance and interoperability program,
OMA has started working on developing future Enabler Test Specifications
and the corresponding Test Cases for the TTCN-3 language.

The Members of OMA would like to understand the support for TTCN-3 that
is available to help develop TTCN-3 based test cases for the OMA
Enablers being developed.

OMA is today launching a Request for Information regarding OMA's
proposed projects that will use TTCN-3.

Full details of the Request for Information can be found at:

www.openmobilealliance.org/documents/OMA...IOP-2008-0007R04-INP
_TTCN_3_Test_Code_Developments_RFI.pdf

The Closing Date for submissions is 16th June 2008.

If you are not interested in this request for information, please accept
my apologies for using this mainly technical list for circulation of the
RFI. In discussion with ETSI, it was agreed that this was probably the
best list to reach as many interested experts and companies working with
TTCN-3.

Should you have any questions regarding the RFI, please do not hesitate
to contact me by email or phone.

Thank you,

Howard.
