T3UC 2009 RfI
Dear TTCN-3 community,
we are about to plan T3UC 2009. You can mark already the tentative date
to be June 1-4, 2009 at ETSI, Sophia-Antipolis, France.
We would like to get your input in order to make the most of T3UC.
Please answer the questions below - it will take some minutes only. Your
answers and ideas are highly appreciated:
- T3UC should have experience report sessions - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): Experience reports are the core
of a user conference.
- T3UC should have tool sessions - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): Commercial and open source
(freeware) tools should be included.
- T3UC should have work-in-progress sessions - yes/no
No.
Your comments (optional): Work in progress is of little
interest to practitioners.
- T3UC should have research work sessions - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): Research sessions are a very
valuable addition to experience reports. They reflect the future direction
of TTCN-3 and testing.
- T3UC should have tutorials - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): Can we have advanced and
introductions in parallel?
- T3UC should have a vendors booth/posters - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): This is an opportunity for
users and vendors alike to come together and experience new features.
- T3UC should produce proceedings (as a collection of papers) - yes/no
No.
Your comments (optional): Proceedings take a long time to
appear. This should be a user conference and the material should be up to
date.
- T3UC should have a panel - yes/no
Maybe.
Topic of the panel (optional): Interoperability of tools.
Your comments (optional): Standardization is an approach
to achieve interoperabilty. How good is it today? Ask some users about
their experience.
- T3UC should have a TTCN-3 standard (latest news) session - yes/no
Yes.
Your comments (optional): The standard is updated
regularly. An look into some of the new features might be very
interesting.
Also an outlook at the
hot topics currently under discussion could trigger some user interaction.
- T3UC should have a TTCN-3 contest - yes/no
