Hi,
As I read the standard, the address type is neither
explicitly mentioned as importable definition (in
section 7.5.1, table 5), nor explicitly mentioned as
not importable (section 7.5.2, clause (a)).
So, it is tool dependant, weather the following
test suite compiles without errors, isn't it?
module architecture
{
type charstring address_type;
type address_type address;
...
}
module test_address {
import from architecture all
...
var address instance2 := "instance2";
p.call (funk_ping_temp) to instance1;
}
Did I misunderstand something ?
