TOPIC: question about formal port parameter

question about formal port parameter 20 Aug 2004 08:29 #6749

Hi all,
Clause 5.2.1.0 says "Timers and ports are always passed by reference
and are identified by the keywords timer and port." But,the BNF rule
FormalPortPar ::= [InOutParKeyword] PortTypeIdentifier PortParIdentifier,
without a "port" keyword, anyone can explain for me? Thanks a lot!

Best Regards
Xiangdong Ji

Dear Xiangdong,

this is an error in the text - the BNF is right. The correction has been already
provided in the mockup.

Cheers, Ina.
