ISO 9646-2 is concerned with conformance testing. If that is the scope of
your TTCN-3 ATS then these guidelines are still applicable. At ETSI we will
continue to apply the ISO 9646 methodology for all our (conformance) test
suites, irrespective of which version of TTCN is being used. Even outside of
conformance testing ISO 9646 contains much common-sense concepts which can
be useful.
ETSI does not yet have guidelines for the use of TTCN-3 wrt style, layout,
programming conventions etc. In EP TIPHON, where we are using TTCN-3 for SIP
testing, we are looking at these issues (in a limited way). A report on this
will be available mid-November.
