Hi all!

I have looked into the standard but I haven't been able to locate the
definition of pattern matching for the metacharacters (to some extent
explained in B.1.5, page 112 and 113) either in the BNF, operational
semantics document or the Core Std, revision 2.1.0. Could someone give me a
hint on where this is described in more detail? (or am I just stupid...,
hopefully not likely;-))
